We test mobile applications for quality, usability, functionality, compatibility, consistency, and performance. At Hurix, we undertake both manual and automated testing. This includes a vast range of application testing and evaluation techniques encompassing both standard software testing and mobile-platform-specific testing procedures.
We test mobile applications to check the following elements.
Types of Mobile App Testing
Mobile App Functionality- A functionality test is the most basic test for an application that ensures that it performs as expected. Mobile applications involve plenty of human interactions in user scenarios, just as in the case of other interface applications. Our QA team tests the business flow, user interface (e.g., landscape or portrait, languages, etc.), and coverage across platforms.
We perform usability testing to ensure ease of use of the mobile app and an exceptional user experience for the customers.
We ensure that the app’s key functions perform as expected on different mobile devices, screen sizes, browsers, and OS versions.
We test the menu options, bookmarks, settings, history, buttons, and navigation flow of the application to check the functionality and usability of the interface elements as a user.
We test the application’s services, both online and offline. We check whether the application can fetch data from the server and whether the app functions correctly in offline mode.
We test the usage of memory, auto-delete of temporary files, etc.
The application’s performance is tested across different connections such as 2G, 3G up to WIFI, as well as battery consumption and sharing of the documents.
Testing is done to check the recovery plans and backups if/when a battery dies, and to check if there’s any loss of data while the application is being upgraded from an app store.
This includes validating the application through installing and uninstalling it on different devices.
In security testing, we check whether the system keeps the data safe and protected.
We can help you deliver an incredible mobile app to your customers.
